NATIONAL SANITARY AND TECHNICAL REPOSITORY 2026
This Charter of Excellence constitutes the framework document binding the Barbier de France Body to the certified establishment. Obtaining and maintaining the Label are conditional upon strict, permanent, and unconditional compliance with the following articles.
The Member certifies and commits to guaranteeing that the hairdressing and barbering activity within their establishment is under the effective, permanent, and direct control of a holder of the Professional Certificate (BP) or Master's Certificate (BM), in accordance with Law No. 46-1173.
The certified salon is obliged to implement a systematized disinfection procedure after each service. All workstations, barber chairs, and cutting tools must imperatively be treated using a disinfectant, bactericidal, fungicidal, and virucidal product, certified in compliance with the European standard NF EN 14476.
To prevent cross-contamination, the exclusive use of straight razors with interchangeable blades (shavettes) is an absolute obligation. The establishment has the legal obligation to dispose of these sharps via an approved container (Yellow box) and justify an active contract for the collection of Infectious Clinical Waste (DASRI).
The establishment guarantees that its premises meet the safety standards incumbent upon Establishments Receiving the Public. The electrical installation must be certified compliant with the NF C 15-100 standard to prevent any fire risk.
In accordance with regulations, all prices inclusive of tax charged by the salon must be displayed clearly, legibly, and visibly. The Member commits to systematically providing a detailed receipt for any service.
The signatory expressly accepts the regular visit of an anonymous auditor mandated by Barbier de France (Mystery Shopper). Any negative audit report noting an endangerment of the customer or a flagrant non-compliance with hygiene rules will lead to the immediate forfeiture of the Label.
